Founded in 2019, Teal is a personal career growth platform that gives people the tools, skills, and recommendations to accelerate their careers through self-management. Tools and content focus on helping job seekers understand company needs and roles and align and position their skills, experience, and personal goals to find opportunities that excite and make sense for them.
The task was to conceive of a holistic career management platform to support the entire career journey and to prioritize one tool to focus on designing out a full UX / UI.
PRODUCT APPROACH
Map out and establish a common understanding of the career journey and current pain points. Overlay the conceived of solutions for supporting people across the entire career journey and prioritize one for initial deep design.
PRODUCT DESIGN
Break down the steps of the existing service model for producing and delivering content through live calls, recorded webinars, and manual tooling. Create a platform designed to house an increasing set of software tools and software enabled content. Go deep on designing out the full UX / UI for one tool within the newly conceived of platform.
PRODUCT ROADMAPPING
Informed by the career journey and the platform concept, build a roadmap outlining future optionality for further investing in software and content within the career management platform.
