Founded in 2018, Altana is an AI platform that ingests and transforms data across the public and private sectors to build models, networks, and visualizations that support and enable safe, resilient, and sustainable global supply chains. Launched in 2020, the company's Trusted Commerce Platform helps businesses and governments collaborate through a shared source of truth on the global supply chain.
The task was to define the Altana technology platform and options for product prototyping, including prioritizing one option to design and build into a fully functional prototype as a proof of concept, showcasing the power of the technology to ingest, transform, visualize, manage, and mitigate risk globally.
PRODUCT APPROACH (Led by tCR Partner Jenny Cox)
Define the Altana technology platform, including underlying core capabilities, and flesh out all the possible customer segments, use cases, and product options. Evaluate product options and prioritize based on market opportunity, customer segments and needs, and ability to execute given team and platform strengths.
PRODUCT DESIGN
Break down the steps of a bespoke technically-enable service model for ingesting and transforming multiple data sets and rebuild them into a streamlined, repeatable process with a sleek experience for creating and visualizing supply chain networks and risks.
PROTOTYPING
Deepen the experience into a fully functional, clickable prototype using real data to demonstrate real supply chain networks and risks through models, networks, and visualizations.
The world needs a shared source of truth on the global supply chain. Governments and the private sector can use billions of data points to build safe, resilient, and sustainable supply chains. We focused on prioritizing and going deep on designing and prototyping an initial proof of concept. The goal was to showcase the power of the technology to ingest, transform, visualize, manage, and mitigate risk globally and become a shared source of truth on the global supply chain.
