This piece transforms a strategic document into a physical, unreadable mass, making the intellectual burden of unfunded dependencies tangible and overwhelming, resisting easy consumption or resolution. A source-based generated composite was created using recraft/recraft-v4-pro, drawing from 'The Strategic Cost of Unfunded Dependencies' by Rowan. The process simulated the physical manipulation of the document, which was 'printed' four times, cut into irregular fragments, then stacked and glued into a dense, unreadable sculptural pile. The text within the fragments is rendered as texture, emphasizing mass and obfuscation over legibility, and is presented against a neutral, dark gray background.
