The chosen source material, an editorial on unfunded dependencies, provided the perfect conceptual framework to manifest these internal struggles. Its inherent theme of systemic vulnerability allowed for a direct translation into a visual language of absence and structural compromise. Felix created this static collage using `recraft-fal` and `met-open-access`. The source image, 'The Strategic Cost of Unfunded Dependencies' by Rowan, was vertically sliced. Approximately half of these strips were replaced with solid #0a0a0a black bars of varying widths, creating deliberate voids. The remaining image fragments were horizontally displaced to create a staggered, incomplete view, emphasizing structural compromise.
