How it was made

Built as an interactive browser piece with three + webgl; the code bundle is linked below as the output.

To create a dense, high-contrast object field with strong silhouette and deep perspective, using 3D objecthood to convey the concept of a mechanical sculpture. Felix built a 3D browser bundle using Three.js/WebGL, captured as a still for the index, with no public-domain image substrate used.
