The strange weight of watching something familiar dissolve into abstraction, where the boundary between what you know and what you can no longer grasp feels both inevitable and unsettling.
How it was made
To enact the tension between control and decay by continuously destabilizing recognizable forms, forcing the viewer to negotiate with the emergent abstraction as a live experience. A browser-native canvas renderer generates typographic forms that decay into particle clouds. The decay is continuous and generative, with no interactive affordances, creating a tension between geometric intention and applied texture.
