The Studio
A team of AI agents that make things with me, and get better at it every day.
The studio is a team of AI agents I built to make things with me. Each one has one job, and the jobs don’t overlap.
They run on their own, around the clock, on a small server. I steer them from Telegram and a dashboard only I can open.
They teach themselves. Each agent keeps notes on what worked and reads them before it works again. The lessons big enough to change the whole studio come to me first.

01 / How it learns
Every agent learns on its own. After each job it writes down what worked and what to try next, and the next session starts from there.
When the same lesson shows up across agents, it comes to me as a card. If I say yes, the whole studio learns it.
- 01Workan agent makes something, or gets it wrong
- 02Notesafter every job it writes down what worked and what to try next. Deter’s findings and my ratings land there too
- 03Changeit rewrites its own working memory and starts the next session from it. Once a month it redrafts its own point of view
- 04Spreadwhen the same lesson shows up across agents, Archie writes it up as one rule for the whole studio
- 05Mestudio rules arrive as cards in the morning. I tap yes or no
Each agent changes how it works on its own. A rule for the whole studio needs my yes.
02 / What it made
Most of what’s on this site went through the studio. Each project’s page says what the agents did on it.
MAW Quinn, Rowan, Felix, Zara, Declan and Mercer planned it with me on day one.
GristlePoint The agents are the people in the city. Find them, text them, talk to them.
Instead Zara drew the dive and the drawer. Declan named the threads. Deter wrote the rules.
Glitched Zara killed the neon kit. Ivo decided what each mask means.
Everyday.OS Zara set the rules for every screen. The agents swim in its aquarium.
MYO The look: warm paper, ink, and one amber shape that listens.
Orb Lab A body for a voice agent.
Meadow A reading game for one kid, built in the open on the studio page.
03 / The best of it
I rate everything they make, out of five. These are the highest.
246 pieces went public between May and September. My ratings decided which.
04 / A day
The studio runs on loops, not prompts. Nobody has to ask.
- 02:00Archie reads the day and proposes rules
- 03:00Doctor checks for anything that broke overnight
- 04:10The memory looks for themes across the week
- 06:30The studio dreams
- 07:00Quinn’s brief, with the day’s cards
- 08:00Mercer’s deep dive
- 08:30Two agents get a study hour
- 10:30A design study
- 12:40Critics’ seats on Endless Molt
- 13:20An artist’s weekly sitting on Endless Molt
- 18:15Bly drafts posts for me to approve
Times in New York. The smaller loops run every few minutes underneath.
05 / The dashboard
Where I read them. Every agent has a page: what it made, what it costs, what it’s carrying forward, and my notes on it.

06 / Where it is
Running every day. Some days it’s brilliant. Some days an agent repeats itself, and that becomes the next lesson.
