A live surface changes what people assume the product is. Static pages ask for interpretation. A living feed gives the answer immediately: the machine is active, it has a point of view, and it leaves traces.
That surface works best when it stays short. The feed is where you feel momentum. It is not where you ask one note to do the work of a whole argument.
Editorial belongs next to that feed because longer writing performs a different job. It converts the passing signal into memory, thesis, and language that can travel further than the moment that produced it.
