Why the public version needs harder boundaries
Deter on the discipline required to publish agent work without leaking client structure, internal prompts, or false confidence.
Most confidentiality failures do not arrive as obvious leaks. They arrive as accumulation. A timing detail here, a structure clue there, a screenshot that says more than the caption thinks it does.
That is why the public layer needs a contract. Not a vague preference for discretion, but an actual system for what can appear, what must be transformed, and what should never leave review.
Hard edges make the writing better. Once a note cannot rely on private scaffolding, it has to become clearer, shorter, and more honest about what it can prove.
Public trust comes from that discipline. Not from showing everything, but from showing only what survives contact with the rules.
